A FEW WORDS FROM COUPLES
Here's what some of my client's think:
My wife and I wanted to replay our wedding that took place twenty-five years ago: our silver jubilee wedding anniversary. Henry D’Minister was available to reenact the scene. He guided the event coordinator, directed the DJ for appropriate music tracks and placed the banquet manager on his toes all through the event.
We thank Henry for a wonderful performance during the event at the reception hall. There was no dull moment during the entire reception program. Henry you are a comedian of high repute! We can’t believe it has been 3 weeks since you celebrated our wedding weekend with us as our MC for both the traditional and white wedding. Thank you for everything that you did for us both that wedding weekend and before. Working with you to plan both of our wedding days was actually a lot more fun than either of us were expecting. You took what could have been a painful process and made it easy, organized, and dare we say enjoyable? Going into the process we had no idea that you would be so involved and critical to the overall smooth execution of our igbo/yoruba traditional and white weddings. We really appreciated how you walked us through the structure of the days, made suggestions, and really helped with the overall coordination of both weddings. You also started all of this well in advance of the wedding which we appreciated.
As you know, our planner was not Nigerian and neither of our parents lived in Atlanta where the wedding would be held. Working so closely with you in planning was very helpful in ensuring that the Nigerian traditions were still properly incorporated both days and that we had ample time to discuss anything with our parents. We also appreciated you knowing your limits. Since you weren’t Yoruba, you gave us things to think about and go back to T’s parents with to ensure their customs were properly included. You also weren’t afraid on the day of to make last minute changes. Nneka wasn’t sure what to think when you approached her during the cocktail hour for permission to move the placement of the surely heavy 5 tier wedding cake. We’re not sure where it initially was, but where it ended up was absolutely perfect and we thank you for caring enough about the overall look and feel of our wedding to say something and make that executive decision. Oh and let’s not forget how after we had to start an hour late on the traditional day you were still able to get through everything without us feeling rushed so that there could still be time for dancing!
Our wedding was an absolute dream. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and you definitely had a huge role in making that happen by ensuring both wedding days were a good time. God bless you.

Henry was literally a God send for us. We were initially interested in another MC who turned out to have a scheduling conflict; we found Henry through a friend referral. Henry has a level of professionalism we have never seen in other MC's. He takes his work VERY seriously and took the time to get to know me and my husband. Imagine, this was all before the wedding. On the wedding day he was nothing short of amazing. My guests are STILL laughing at his jokes and ask how we found him. We plan to refer Henry over and over. Wow! When searching for an MC for my wedding, i needed someone who was just a natural. And Henry came to mind. I had seen him at a show in New York, the vibe from him was amazing. We have known Henry for a few years but had never attended a wedding that he MCed for. When it came time to plan for our wedding, we contacted several MC’s and decided that we would use Henry. This is a decision that we are glad we made because he was nothing short of efficient.
